Organized by China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture, Beijing Red Cross Foundation and Buchang Pharma Group, the One Heart Foundation Project funded the third group of 12 Tibetan children with congenital heart disease to arrive at Beijing on March 16, 2012 for free treatment in Beijing Tongren Hospital and Beijing Huaxin Hospital. Sita, Vice Minister of the United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, received the children at the Beijing West Railway Station. On March 30, all the children recovered from surgery and went back to Lhasa. The organization of the One Heart Foundation Project plans to fund 110 Tibetan children with congenital heart disease for free treatment, and it has already helped 39 children regain health.
