Words with the Suffix "Zi" and "Tou" in Hefei Dialect

合肥方言"子"尾词和"头"尾词比较丰富,代表安徽江淮方言词汇的一种典型特征。其中"子"尾词以两字组、三字组为主,"头"尾词以两字组居多。"子"尾词词性大多为名词,也有少数是代词、数量词、动词或形容词;"头"尾词分别有名词、动词、形容词和副词。词缀"子"在"子"尾词中主要用来表达说话人"指小增恶"的主观评价态度,词缀"头"在"头"尾词中分别表达"指小增恶"、事物发展的势头或来由以及某件事是否值得去做等多种功用。

There are a large number of words with the suffix ＂Zi＂ and ＂Tou＂ in the Hefei dialect, which is a representative characteristic of Anhui Jianghuai dialect. Words with the suffix ＂Zi＂ are mainly two-word or three-word units, while words with the suffix ,＇ Tou＂ are mainly two-word units. Words with the suffix ＂Zi＂ are mainly nouns and a few of them are pronouns, nuraerals, verbs and adjectives, while words with the suffix ＂Tou＂ are mainly nouns, verbs, adjectives arid adverbs. Suffix ＂Zi＂ is to express the speakers＇ minor or despising opinion, while suffix ＂ Tou＂ is to express respectively minor, despising opinion, or the developing trend, origin and whether it is worth doing.
