摘要
"十七年"(1949—1966)是袁可嘉诗歌翻译的高峰期,他以深厚的英语文学与汉语写作的功底,将翻译作为展示自己诗艺的舞台,为中国新诗发展做出了杰出的贡献。此处以"文化转向"为视角,将关注点投注于袁可嘉在这一阶段的译源选择与翻译策略,通过梳理发现他的译介活动是在当时政治语境、主流诗学及翻译政策等多因素规约和作用下发生的。而作为一位诗人翻译家,袁可嘉在这一特殊时期充分发挥了自己的诗才,在相对逼仄的范围内根据自己的审美标准进行诗歌译介,力求达到"限制中寻求完美"。
Yuan Kejia is at the peak of his English poem translation in the "Seventeen Years" (1949- 1966). With his deep English literature knowledge and proficient Chinese writing skills, he takes translation as the stage of showing his poetry skill, and makes great contribution to Chinese new poetry. From "Cultural Turn" perspective, Yuan Kejia's poem translation is analyzed. His translation is restricted by the factors such as political context, mainstream poetry and translation policy. As a poet translator, Yuan Kejia develops his poetic talent to translate English poems based on his own aesthetic standard within the comparatively narrow scope, trying to "seek perfection from limitation".
