Japan＇s wine culture has a long history. Japanese people, not only create the sake which is of a delicate and pure taste, but also generate a lot of popular, content-rich wine proverbs and sayings. These wines sayings in part come from Chinese ancient classics, with an obvious impact from Chinese culture. At the same time, these sayings also reflect the Japanese understanding of the wine, their drinking etiquette and other unique characteristics of their wine culture. It can be concluded that Japanese and Chinese wine culture are largely identical with slight differences, which have both merits and weak points respectively.
