摘要
赫胥黎的《美丽新世界》展现了一个科技高度发达的未来世界,科技与暴政结盟,对人性与社会都产生了毁灭性影响。面对启蒙理性过度膨胀的恶果,赫胥黎站在反启蒙的立场上,通过审判科技与政治暴政结盟的罪行,揭示了技术统治与极权主义的直接引语关系,即极权主义正是通过对技术统治下既定的社会人类模式不断引用,演变成其暴行,从而他提出异化艺术形象的双重概念,在探讨启蒙与反启蒙的辩证关系中,寻找救赎之路。
Aldous Huxley's Brave New World presents reader a future world with developed science and technology. However, thecombinationoftechnologyandtyrannybringhumanbeingsadevastatingimpact. Facing the excessive reason of enlightenment, Aldous Huxley, standing on anti-enlightenment position, judges the criminals brought by the combination of technology and tyranny. At the end of the essay, the writer analyzes the double concept of alienation of artistic image, and makes effort to discover a way of salvation from the discussion of dialectical relati- onships between enlightenment and anti-enlightenment.
