Using "Public Value" Rather Than "Universal Value" to Solve the Problem of Uni-value

"普世价值"是为了解决价值共识问题而提出的,但"普世价值"存在诸如片面强调主观普世价值、混淆基于公共客体的普世价值与基于相同客体的普世价值、只考虑到世界范围的价值共识等问题。"公共价值"则可以避免"普世价值"的上述缺陷,而且融入了民主、平等、和谐等现代社会的核心理念,较之于"普世价值"有更丰富的内涵、更深刻的说服力。因此,用"公共价值"解决价值共识问题是最恰当的。

The concept of Public Value is put out to solve the problem of uni - value. However, practically Public Value has many such demerits as put- ring over - sided emphasis on subjective Universal Value, confusing Universal Value of public objects and Universal Value of common objects and consid- ering uni -value only around the world. Avoiding all the above demerits, Public Value concerns the modem ideas of democracy, equality and harmony. It is more meaningful and more persuasive. So it is more appropriate to solve the problem of uni - value by using the more sensible concept of Public Val-
