中国商业银行效率研究:一种非参数的分析

The non-parametric approach to the measurement of efficiency: the case of China commercial banks

本文阐述了数据包络分析 (DEA)的线性规划方法对银行效率的测度 ,并对我国银行 1 997年的技术效率、纯技术效率、规模效率和规模报酬进行计算 ,在研究中对四大国有独资银行和其他新型商业银行的效率进行比较。根据研究的结果 ,提出了银行效率改进的手段 ,并且提出了需要进一步探讨的问题。

The paper computes the technical efficiency,pure thchnical efficiency and scale efficiency of the banks in China in 1997 by using the approach of Data Envelopment Anaysis (DEA), which is to solve the linear programming problems. In the study the emphasis is put on the efficiency comparison between the four solely-stated-owned banks and other newly founded banks. According to the results of the study, the measures are suggested to improve the efficiency performance of the banks. The paper also indicates the direction of further study on the subject.
