Objective T o observe the application value of Respiratory function training in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) at stable stage. Methods Fifty patients from COPD at stable stage given routine medical treatment and Respiratory function training. 1 year after the patient's blood gas analysis, lung function and quality of life be assess- ment before and after treatment comparison. Results After respiratory function training in patients with stable COPD, the patient's blood gas analysis, pulmonary function and quality of life evaluation of a significant improvement compared with prior treatment (P 〈 0.05). Conclusion The respiratory function training and routine medical treatment showed better ther- apeutic effect in COPD at stable stage.
