Change of the Relationship between State and Society during Transformation Period in China

市场经济体制的完善与公民意识的增强不仅导致国家全能主义的松动,而且也强烈地冲击了传统式的国家与社会关系。在新形势下,通过体制改革与创新培养国家与社会的协作共生关系是解决复杂的中国社会问题的有效途径。公民社会的健康发展既是构建新型国家与社会关系的前提,又是社会进步的核心动力。但特殊的国情决定了中国不能照搬西方模式,只能注重发展特色。中国公民社会的科学合理的发展是实现国家与社会间关系的良性转换与维护社会和谐目标的重要保障。

The improvement of market economy and citizens＇ heightened awareness make totalitarianism loose and have strong impacts on the traditional relationship between state and society. To establish the cooperation and coexistence of state and society by structural reform and innovation will be the effective way to solve the complicated social problems in China. The construction of the ＂new-styled＂ relationship works on the premise that healthy civil society, which is the core dynamics of social progress, can develop well. However, the actual condition of the country determines that China cannot develop in a Western mode. It must lay stress on Chinese features. Scientific and rational development of civil society will safe- guard the positive transformation of the state-society relationship and the realization of social harmony.
