蒙古族"安代舞"是闻名于世界舞坛的民间歌舞,堪称为蒙古族的第一舞、蒙古族舞蹈活化石。2006年蒙古族安代舞经国务院批准列入首批国家级非物质文化遗产名录。蒙古族安代舞—安代艺术—安代文化研究,经过50年的努力,已成为蒙古学研究中的一门显学。安代研究包括安代的田野调查和安代的学术研究,安代的田野调查包括安代词曲的搜集整理、安代艺人和安代舞蹈动作的采访调查及发掘整理、安代病患者和演唱安代习俗的民俗学调查、安代传承文化圈的调查等;安代的学术研究,是指从文化学、舞蹈艺术学、音乐学、宗教学、民俗学、医学、心理学、传说学、诗学等多学科视角对安代进行的研究。随着蒙古族安代舞—安代艺术—安代文化研究的蓬勃发展,蒙古族安代文化将更加发挥其无限魅力和无穷潜质。

The Mongolian Andai dance is a renowned dance among folk dances around the world： it is considered the most typical dance of the Mongolian culture and is dubbed the living fossil of Mongolian dance.Approved by the State Council in 2006,Mongolian Andai dance officially become one of the first items on the national intangible cultural heritage list.After 50 years of painstaking effort,the study of Andai dance,the art and culture has become one area that attracts lots of attention and interest.The study of Andai includes field research and academic study of Andai.The field research consists of search and compiling of tunes and lyrics of Andai,interviews with Andai artists and discoveries and recording of moves of Andai,investigation of the passing on of Andai in inner Mongolia and so forth.The academic study of Andai refers to study of the subject from culturology,danceology,musicology,religion,psychology and other perspectives.As the study of Andai gets more traction,the culture will grow more attractive and has more potential.
