On the Second-order Desire Before Triple Door:An Interpretation of Snow Flower and the Secret Fan

《雪花密扇》通过雪花与百合、尼娜与索菲娅的友谊,揭示了从前现代到后现代以家庭为单元的父权规训,以及在这种宰制下作为母辈与子辈的女性在权力、地位、身份方面的差异。而当差异与规训共谋,母辈就成为父权宰制女性的践行者,子辈间的友谊则演变为同化和征服。这就是应社会要求被迫塑造身体的雪花和塑造气质的索菲娅共同面临的"三重门",以及导致她们情谊离合的"二阶欲求"。

Snow Flower and the Secret Fan,through the friendship between Snow Flower and Lily and between Nina and Sofia,discloses the patriarchal discipline in a family unit,and the differences between the mother generation and son generation in terms of power,position and status under this discipline.But when the difference and the discipline are dually functional,the mother generation becomes the victim of the patriarchal power over female,and the friendship in the son generation is transformed into domestication and conquering.These constitute the triple door to Snow Flower who is forced to shape her figure and to Sofia who is forced to shape temperament,and also become the cause that results in the second-order desire.
