“入世”与“出世”——林纾双重文化心态解读

Analysis of Lin Shu's dual cultural minds

林纾是中国近代文坛上比较复杂的历史人物,他具有双重文化心态——"入世"与"出世",其表现为价值观上"隐"与"见"的相互交织、为学上追求自由境界与迁就学术规范的双重意向。林纾形成双重文化心态的原因主要有两个方面,一是当时特殊的时代环境所致,二是传统儒学的价值信仰体系使然。

Lin Shu was a complicated historical figure in the modern Chinese literary circles. He possessed dual cultural minds ＂partaking in social activities＂ and ＂detaching from the worldly affairs＂ , which is displayed in the value f interweaving of ＂hermitage＂ and ＂appearance＂ and pursuing for free realm and following the academic standard. The causes for Lin Shu＇s dual cultural minds are the following two respects： the background of that period ; the Confucian value belief system.
