丙酸钙在反刍动物中的研究进展

摘要 丙酸钙是世界卫生组织和联合国粮农组织批准使用的安全可靠的食品与饲料用防霉剂,在反刍动物中应用广泛,可以用来预防及在短期内安全有效的治疗奶牛产乳热等多种营养代谢疾病。丙酸钙在进入反刍动物机体后,能够水解为丙酸和钙离子。丙酸是反刍动物最主要的生糖物质,而体内所需90%的葡萄糖来自糖异生作用。钙是动物体内最丰富的矿物元素,以丙酸钙的形式添加通常比饲草和常用饲料中的钙易于利用。本文对丙酸钙在饲料中的防霉作用及防霉机理、预防治疗奶牛营养代谢疾病及丙酸钙在反刍动物生产中的应用情况进行简要阐述。 Calcium propionate is the safe and reliable food and feed preservatives approved by the World Health Organization and the United Nations FAO. Calcium propionate is used widely in ruminant, which can be used to prevent and treat milk fever in dairy cattle and other nutritional and metabolic diseases in the short term. Calcium propionate, after entering the organism of rumi- nants, can be hydrolyzed into propionic acid and calcium ion. Propionic acid is the main glu- cogenic substances in ruminants, and 90% glucose required in vivo is from gluconeogenesis. Cal- cium is the most abundant mineral in animals body . This paper reviewed the mechanism of mold and mildew, treatment and prevention of dairy cattle nutrition and metabolic diseases and applica- tion in ruminant production, of calcium propionate.
