摘要
神经科学（neuroscience）也即脑科学，是一门以脑的结构和功能为研究对象的综合性科学。它正式作为一门新学科始于1950-1960年代，然而其起源十分古老，可上溯至数千年前的古埃及时代。近年来神经科学发展十分迅猛：微观方面已深入到某一个功能分子三维结构的鉴定：在宏观的整体性方面，对人类神智（mind）的功能如“模仿”“揣度”等，亦有较深入的讨论。
This article briefly reviews the major historical events that contributed to the foundation of neuroscience, as
well as the recent developments and the unsolved problems.
