The paper introduces the rotor structure, the megnetic pole installation technology of Dongqing Hydropower Plant. In the process of installation, it is found that the clearance between the magnetic pole upper splices and the nearby magnetic pole coil is not qualified. Thus the solution is that not to suspend the rotor and to use the special cutting method.
