The Modern Enlightenment of the Confucian Faith Culture Developed in Pre-Qin Period

在中国由计划经济向市场经济转轨的过程中,诚信日渐式微。先秦时期的儒家诚信文化对当代文化建设的启示主要有:在校园文化建设中,应努力构建渗透式诚信教育模式,教师要以诚信立教,青年学生应积极从先秦诚信文化中汲取力量,用儒家的"忠恕"思想和"慎独"方式不断锤炼自己;作为市场经济条件下的现代企业,更应传承儒家的商业诚信文化,同时将"诚信"作为选拔企业管理者的标尺,从而有效地确立"诚信兴业"的企业文化。

In China, during the course of transition from plan-controlled economy to market economy, faith is gradually losing influence. The Confucian faith culture developed in pre-Qin period has enlightenment on contemporary culture. As to the construction of campus culture, we should try hard to establish permeable mode for faith education. Teachers should conduct teaching activities based on faith. Young students should learn from the culture and build up themselves with the thought, ＂faith and forgiveness＂ as well as the mode, ＂Carefulness for being alone＂, both of which belong to the Confucian Culture. Modern enterprises in the background of market economy should inherit the commercial faith culture developed by merchants of pre-Qin period and take ＂faith＂ as the standard to select managers, so as to effectively set up their enterprise culture, ＂developing business with faith＂.
