赵树理坚持通俗化、大众化文艺方向,却不为太行文艺界所承认。在1942年太行文化人座谈会上,杨献珍等领导旗帜鲜明地支持赵树理的观点,对某些文化人脱离政治、脱离现实、脱离群众,忽视通俗化、大众化的错误倾向进行了批评。至此,党在抗日战争时期的文化(文艺)政策得到很好的贯彻落实。
