文章指出高校图书馆具有传播先进文化的优势,同时也存在一些不足之处。高校图书馆在传播先进文化和进行自身建设及发展过程中,应以科学发展观为指导思想,坚持进行校园文化建设;在育人中传播先进文化;不断加强管理,注重馆员继续教育工作,以此增强图书馆传播先进文化的能力。

The university libraries have advantages of spreading advanced culture as well as some shortcom- ings. They should take the scientific outlook on development as the guiding ideology, keeping the construc- tion of campus culture, cultivating the talents and spreading the advanced culture in the process of self con- struction and development. It should emphasize on management, and pay much attention to the continuing education to librarians so as to enhance the capacity of university libraries to spread advanced culture.
