In the production of ethylene oxide during the reaction, the inevitable side effects happened that large a- mounts of carbon dioxide （CO2 ） was generated and emitted directly into the atmosphere, which caused serious air pollu- tion and was also a serious waste of valuable carbon resource. Through taking measures, using new technology for recy- cling, and taking fully aduantages of its characteristics, it turned waste into treasure.
