Based on the plight of English teaching on the art design profession,the paper takes the Meta-cognition strategies into the teaching.Through changing the students＇ opinion and imparting knowledge about Meta-cognition theory,the teacher strengthens students＇ learning ability of Meta-cognition strategies and self monitoring capability,improves the students＇ study interest and autonomy,makes the professional English ＂practical in short time,essential in long time＂ professional curriculum.
