With USB devices being applied widely, the driver development for Linux system is partic- ularly important. This paper introduces the basic knowledge of Linux drivers. Then combining with the characteristics of USB hardware and software, it discusses how to implement a minimum framework of USB driver for Linux. This framework lays the foundation for rapid development of different USB device drivers, and has a strong practical value.
