Analysis of Parallel Texts and Strategies of Adaptation in the Translation of Tourist Texts

翻译中存在改写的策略,然而译者的改写自由是有限度的。通过对旅游文本翻译产生改写现象的理论依据进行讨论发现,出于文本功能和文本接受的考虑,需要对英汉文本进行平行文本对比分析。这一方法有助于译者实施改写策略和明确改写的限度。

Adaptation strategies need to be made in translation practice of tourist texts, however, the degree of adaptation should be in its scope. After reviewing theories on why adaptation is needed, it is found that an analysis of parallel texts helps translators apply strategies of adaptation to meet the functional and accepting purpose of the texts and specify the degree of making adaptation.
