中东地区历史悠久,文明灿烂,从古至今就是一个多种族、多民族和多宗教信仰居民的繁衍生息之地。中东地区既是一个内部各种势力角逐的地方,也是一个外部势力、外部强权争夺的重要场所。中东秩序曾在二战之后几经变迁,形成以美国为主导的局面。中东变局冲击着现有中东秩序,并使各种地区势力的影响上升。今后中东地区各类纷争将会变得更加复杂。

As a region with a long history and splendid civilization, theMiddle East since ancient time has been inhabited by peoples of different races, ethnicities and religious beliefs. It is also a region with fierce internal competitions and external contentions by big powers. The current changes there are affecting the order of the region, thus giving rise to the influence of the regional powers. In future, the competition of various kinds in the region tends to be more complicated.
