The Madinat AI-Zahra Museum in the south of Spain built by Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos is an archaeological museum and research center near the ancient Arab city of the same name, which was forgotten for a thousand years. Through the understanding of the place, the architects were able to use geographic elements to turn light, space and material into connections of past and present, and thereby creating architeture as a carrier of memories.
