基于网络扫描的网络测量技术研究

摘要 网络内部链路性能参数测量对于评估、控制和优化网络性能至关重要。随着网络规模不断增加,由于网络异构性和非协作性,分属不同ISP自治域(AS)之间测量信息难以互通,通过在网络中部署大量测量节点来直接获取逐跳链路性能已几乎不可能。详细介绍了一种新的网络测量技术——网络断层扫描(NT),重点介绍NT测量的系统模型、分析模型、探测方法和链路性能分析方法等。 The estimation of the performance metrics of interior links is important for evaluating, controlling and improving network performance. However, with the increment of network scale, it is hard to exchange network measurement information among different ASs because of non-collaboration. Moreover, it is difficult to deploy large numbers of measurement points in large-scale network. A new network measurement technique--network tomography(NT) is introduced. The NT technique is introduced in detail, such as measurement system model, a- nalysis model, probe methods, and link performance inference methods.
