摘要
目的研究新型化妆品防腐剂杰马BP对皮肤表层常驻菌疮疱丙酸杆菌、表皮葡萄球菌的抑制作用。方法分别将皮肤常驻菌疮疱丙酸杆菌、表皮葡萄球菌的菌悬液与适当浓度的杰马BP的水溶液或添加杰马BP的化妆品混合均匀,作用4、8、24 h后进行菌落总数测定,以抑制的菌落总数对数值作为评价指标。结果杰马BP水溶液对疮疱丙酸杆菌抑制作用较弱,需0.15%的浓度作用24 h才表现出明显抑菌作用;对表皮葡萄球菌的抑制作用稍强,0.10%的浓度作用8 h就表现出明显抑菌效果;浓度提高到0.25%~0.75%并加入化妆品中后,对疮疱丙酸杆菌抑菌效果增强,但对表皮葡萄球菌的抑制作用下降。膏状和液状化妆品中杰马BP对表皮葡萄球菌的抑制作用基本相当。结论杰马BP对皮肤常驻菌有一定抑制作用,缩短使用时间可减少这种不利影响。
Objective To explore the bacteriostatic efficacy of the cosmetic antiseptic Germall BP on resident microorganisms in epidermis-Staphylococcus epidermidis and Propionibacterium acnes. Methods The suspensions of Staphylococcus epidermidis and Propionibacterium acnes were added to aqueous solution of Germall BP or cosmetics containing this preservative of proper concentration respectively, then mixed thoroughly. After keeping in ambient temperature for 4, 8 and 24 h, the total bacterial counts of these mixtures were determined, and the killing logarithm was set as a parameter for evaluation of bacteriostatic efficacy. Results While in the form of aqueous solution, Germall BP demonstrated a weak inhibition on Propionibacterium aches, that only up to 0.15% Germall BP exhibited significant inhibition effect after 24 h contacting. GPL in aqueous solution presented a little stronger inhibition effect on Staphylococcus epidermidis, that 0.10% Germall BP for 8 h interaction demonstrated significant inhibition effect. While added in cosmetics with concentrations of 0.25%-0.75%, Germall BP inhibited Propionibacterium acnes more quickly and remarkably, contrary to it, it showed a distinctly declined inhibition on Staphylo-coccus epidermidis. Germall BP presented the basically same bacteriostatic efficacy on Staphylococcus epidermidis in paste cosmetics and in liquid cosmetics. Conclusion Because of its bacteriostatic efficacy on resident microorganisms in epidermis of Germall BP, shortening usage time of cosmetics is advised to minimize or even avoid this kind of adverse effects
