摘要
本文旨在探讨山水画论应用于中国诗词英译的可行性。通过对比分析诗与画在渊源,构造和审美取向等方面的内在联系,笔者发现,山水画论与诗学理论存在很大程度的重叠与共性:体现于哲学渊源的相同,创作技艺的相似,审美取向的相通,为读者留下适度的审美想象空间。故此笔者认为,山水画论运用于诗词翻译是可行的,可以收到"诗中有画"的理想效果。
This article aims at exploring the feasibility of apply- ing Landscape Painting Theory in translation of Chinese poetry, based on a comparative analysis of the inherent relations be- tween poetry and landscape painting in the aspect of origin, structure and aesthetic orientation. It is found that the principles of poetry are similar to that of Landscape Painting Theory to a considerable extent in philosophical origin, artistic techniques and aesthetic orientation. That is to say they both offer proper room for readers' aesthetic imagination. The author therefore concludes that Landscape Painting Theory is applicable to trans- lation of Chinese poetry, which will result in a successful inte- gration of painting effect into poetry.
