The Ideal of the Renaissance of Goddess Culture in Lessing's The Cleft

莱辛作品《裂缝》被学界誉为女神文化的《圣经》。本文试图运用生态女性主义文学批评理论解读《裂缝》中的女神文化构想。文章指出,自然生态世界与性别世界存在着隐喻关联,"人类中心主义"和父权制文化是导致生态危机和性别世界不和谐的根源。《裂缝》倡导复兴女神文化,最终创建一种与自然多元共生、男女两性和谐共处的"和谐友好"型生态社会。

Doris Lessing＇s The Cleft is renowned as the ＂＇Bible＂ of goddess culture. This paper discusses Lessing＇s ideal of revi- ving goddess culture in The Cleft from the perspective of eco- feminism. It argues that the natural world and the gendered world are metaphorically connected;anthropocentrism and patri- archal cultures are responsible for ecological crisis and dishar- mony in the gendered world. The Cleft advocates the renaissance of goddess culture and ultimate establishment of a harmonious ecological society characterized by plural symbiosis of man and nature, and harmonious coexistence of men and women.
