It is of great meaning for the breeding and popularization of insect - resistant transgenic cotton to study the quantitative methods and the degradation rule of insecticidal protein in Bacillus thuringiensis transgenic cotton. This paper summarized the research achievements on quantitative method and the degradation rule of insecticidal protein in Bacillus thuringiensis transgenic cotton at home and abroad, analyzed the reasons causing the changes of Bt toxin protein expression and proposed countermeasures.
