在信息技术迅猛发展，教育传播的新媒体不断出现的今天，据我国幅员辽阔、经济发展不平衡的国情，录像教材仍然是远程教育的重要媒体。本文分析了目前各种形式的录像教材在字幕、外景、动画等方面存在的问题和不足；要切实提高录像教材的质量，必须根据不同课程的特点，进行多种媒体一体化设计，各种媒体优化组合，确定录像的地位和尽可能少的学时，然后，精选录像内容，真正选择既是课程重点、难点，又适合用录像媒体表现的内容，恰如其分地运用各种手段，充分发挥主讲教师的主导作用等，达到最佳教学效果。

It is posited that videos are still one of the most important components of distance leaming packages inChina at preserit. The author analyzes the problems in various techniques used in the videos, like subtitles,site shooting, animation, etc. She puts forwards a series of ideas on what, how and when the videos shouldbe produced and used, to achieve best Iearning result.
