Researches on the Improvement of the Competence of Teachers in Translation

翻译教师是翻译教学的实践者和主导者。为了适应新形势下翻译教学的需求,翻译教师必须提高自身的实践翻译能力。翻译能力包括语言能力、文化能力、学科能力、技术能力和转换能力,要提高这五方面的能力翻译教师不但要更新教育观念,博览群书,更要积极开展翻译实务,接受专业培训。

Teachers involved in translation teaching are taken as the leaders and practitioners in the translation teaching. In response to the latest development of translation teaching, it is a must for teachers to improve their translation competence, which includes linguistic competence, cultural and factual competence in specialized fields, technical and transferable competence. To improve the competence of translation teaching , they have to update their teaching ideas, read widely, take active part in translating practice and attend some specialized trainings, if possible.
