The application of time- space effect theory in loess region foundation pit work is introduced in this paper , which points out that time - space should be considered fully during the deep foundation pit design and construction process. To reduce the excavation space dimensions each step, support time and the pit deformation, we should achieve hierarchical segmentation excavation and support timely.
