An Investigation on the Factors that Affect the Accuracy of Second Language Output of English Majors

旨在通过问卷调查分析对英语专业学生口语输出准确度造成较大影响的因素,包括:学习者态度,学习环境,口语输出量,动机,自信等。随后进行的半结构式访谈旨在进一步了解这些因素如何影响口语输出的准确度。研究发现,学习者态度、学习环境、动机、自信都通过口语输出量作为中介因素最终影响口语输出的准确度。

This study investigates the major factors affecting the accuracy of English majors＇ language output via questionnaire. Those factors include ： learner＇ s attitude, learning environment, oral output, motivation, and confidence. Then a semi - structured interviewed was carried out to investigate how these factors affect the accuracy of language output. The study finds that learners＇ attitude, learning environment, motivation and confidence take oral output as a mediating factor which directly affects the accuracy of language output.
