摘要
回顾了国内外英语界从20世纪60年代至今,在语用学研究里出现的礼貌原则、礼貌策略、面子观念和礼貌准则等理论,通过回顾,旨在让英语学习者在跨文化交际中注意到英汉礼貌原则的相同和不同之处,做到合理得体,能成功地进行国际间的交流和交往。
This paper reviews politeness principles, politeness strategies, face views and politeness Max-ims in studies of pragmatics from 1960s to the present. By retrospecting the related theories, the aim of this paper is to make English learners aware similarities and differences in English and Chinese politeness princi-ples in the cross-cultfiral communication, hence to behave properly and to achieve success in international ex-change and communication.
