By reviewing the present situation of English teaching in China and surveying the features of communicative approach,the author states the merits of communicative approach and analyzes some specific issues when teachers apply the guide to classroom teaching.The author emphasizes some usually neglecled concepts such as interaction and interface to minimize the conflicts in the adaptation to communicative approach.Thus,the Chinese studentspractical English skills could be improved overall.
