In this paper, the advantages and disadvanteges of optical fiber voltage transducers are summarized while compared with the traditional transducers, and the working principle of the optical fiber voltage transducers is introduced. The appliction status of the optical fiber voltage transducers are described, and the development trend is pointed out.
