The article introduces the development and construction of the urban underground ring road in Wuxi City. According to Wuxi Railway Station of Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway, Rail Traffic No.2 Line and the long-term regional land planning, the urban underground ring road is developed and constructed in Wuxi High-speed Railway Business District organically to link up the surrounding ground and underground spaces, to integrate the traffic resources of the regional ground and underground spaces, to enhance its utilization rate, to form the complete and continuous space system, to realize the advancement of the regional comprehensive service capability and to lay the good foundation for the development of regional underground space in the future. The project implementation fully considers the construction factors of Rail Traffic No.2 Line and Wuxi Station of high-speed railway. The reasonable engineering planning and implementation scheme can ensure the coordinating development and construction of many projects. The development and construction of this project powerfully promote the function advancement of business district and realizes the optimization of the underground space utilization in the urban core area.
