Ningbo Damuwan New Town is located at the coast in the middle of Xiangshan with the affluent landscape resource and the beautiful scenery. The article introduces the master design and the metal structural design of long-span steel gate dam successfully used in Damuwan Gate Bridge Project. This gate bridge not only satisfies the function requirement of water-body partition, but also builds the good engineering sight and develops the application range of steel gate dam in the landscape water system able to be referred for the similar projects.
