Trend of PCT Patent Applications in 2010

2010年PCT国际专利申请量为162900件,同比增长4.8%。具体技术领域中,数字通信增长最为迅猛,增幅达到17.3%。中国申请增长势头强劲,增幅高达56.2%,申请量超过韩国,跻身为PCT申请的第四大来源国。中兴、华为在申请量排名中分列第二、第四位。相关数据反映出我国对外申请的特点:PCT申请量与美、日相比仍存较大差距,专利申请质量有所提高、对外申请内部结构不均衡、对外专利申请资助初现成效。

[Abstract] The international PCT （Patent Cooperation Treaty） patent applications in 2010 increased by 4.8% to 162 900. As to specific technical fields, the digital communication field had the most rapid growth of 17.3%. Applications originated from China saw a strong growth high up to 56.2% and surpassed the Republic of Korea to become the No. 4 largest country user of PCT system in 2010. ZTE Corporation and Huawei Technologies Co. listed the 2nd and 4th place among the top applicants respectively. Statistics showed that the features of the patent filing abroad from China are that： the number of PCT filing from China is still fall behind compared with that of United States and Japan, the quality of patent applications has some level of improvernent, the inner-structure of filing abroad is imbalanced and the subsidization policy for filing abroad has achieved initial success.
