医学院校大学英语翻译选修课程建设初探

On the construction of translation as a college English elective course in medical universities and colleges

医学院校开设大学英语翻译选修课程既有其必要性，也有其迫切性。课程建设中，需要解决课时有限、内容庞杂、学生语言基础薄弱、医学翻译融入等难题。本文介绍了北京大学医学部在大学英语翻译选修课程建设中，以帮助学生建构起自己的翻译观念为核心，以侧重医学翻译为特色，尝试构建“观念建构＋医学特色”教学模式的具体情况。

Nowadays it appears both necessary and urgent to offer translation as a college English elective course in medical universities and colleges. In view of the difficulties in translation teaching for un- dergraduates-the limited class hours, substantial content, the students＇ weak language foundation, the teachers＇ insufficiency in teaching medical translation, the author proposed the approach of conceptualization plus medical characteristics, which focused on helping students develop their own concept of translation in addition to preparing them for medical translation. Specific ways of are also explored in the article on how to apply the approach in teaching.
