这是一场英文电影配音大赛活动的开幕词。2011年四月某周一的晚上，重庆市兼善中学高2013级部分学生代表在学校阶梯教室举行英语配音大赛的决赛（其他学生在本班观看视频实况转播）。比赛现场灯火通明，座无虚席，气氛热烈而紧张。所有选手都在为登台表演做最后的准备：或闭目养神，或口中念念有词，或跃跃欲试。当主持人用流利的英语宣布比赛开始，现场爆发出长时间的热烈掌声。
