Research on the Sino-US Librarian Reference Services Based on the Comparative Methodology

利用比较图书馆学的横向比较方法,客观分析了导致中美图书馆参考咨询工作差异的原因,从比较中寻找出提高我国参考咨询服务工作的途径,提出了改进我国参考咨询服务工作的对策与建议。

Employing the horizontal comparative method, this paper makes a thorough analysis on the reasons leading to the differences between the Sino-Us library reference services. An effective way to improve Chinese librarian service level is identified and countermeasures as well as the suggestions on the advancement of our country＇s librarian service are also provided.
