基于语料库对同义词specially、particularly、especially对比分析

同义词辨析在英语学习中是一个难点,传统的辨析方式并不能满足学生的实际使用需求,而近年来使用语料库对同义词的对比分析成为同义词研究行之有效的主要方法。本文尝试通过BNC在线语料库对specially、particularly和especially这一组同义词主要就词频、搭配、类连接,以及语义韵特征进行对比分析,以对今后的教学提供帮助。

It is difficult to discriminate synonyms and the traditional means cannot address students＇ practical needs. Recently, it has proved that corpus-based analysis is an effective way to differentiate synonyms. This thesis attempts to make a comparative analysis of a pair of synonyms ＂special＂ and ＂particular＂, to be exact their frequency per million, collocations, colligations and prosody though online corpus BNC, aiming to provide a vision for future teaching and learning.
