摘要
"身体"概念在杜威的哲学中占有重要地位。没有这一概念,就无法对其"经验"概念与"自然"概念、自然与经验的连续性,以及艺术经验的构成方式和最终根源进行彻底而有效的解释。身体不是与心灵对立和分离的封闭实体,而是表现为心理—物理事件的开放性主体。身体渗透着精神的因素,它具有综合功能。身体给环境赋予意义,身体是艺术经验的第一自然,是艺术的根源,也是艺术的原形。身体不但将艺术观念和艺术构思实现出来,而且通过工具介入对自然物的改变,它也在这种改变中改变自身。
Without the concept of "body," which plays an important role in Dewey's philosophy, there is no way for us to explain essentially and effectively the concepts of "nature" and "experience," the conti- nuity between nature and experience, and the constitutive form and the origin of art experience. The body is not a closed substance separated from the mind, but an open subject that presents itself as a psycho- physical event. The body is permeated with the elements of the mind and acts as a function of synthesis. The body imparts meaning to the environment and works as the first nature of art experience. The body is both the origin of art and the archetype of art. The body not only realizes ideas and conceptions of art but involves itself in the change of natural things with tools and makes a self-change in this change.
