Study on the Development of Institutional Repositories of the University Libraries in Taiwan of China

在台湾,高校机构知识库(IR)的建设目的是将学术成果的积累转换为另一种教学与研究形态,而数字化社会有条件将学术资源与互联网技术结合,使学术资源得到充分活化。该文分析台湾高校机构知识库建设的成功经验,为其他各类型图书馆机构知识库建设的规划和发展提供借鉴。

The aim of institutional repository （IR） of university is to transform the accumulation of re- search outputs into a new form of teaching and research. It is an advantage of digital era to collaborate the academic resources and Internet technology to make academic resource activated. The paper elaborates the valuable experiences of IR development in Taiwan universities as reference for libraries of IR planning and development.
