Combined with the actual abutment construction case of Xiangyuan Bridge in Quanzhou County,the article discussed the crack causes of new bridge abutments,conducted the safety and durability assessment on the skewback with cracks,and proposed the crack treatment measures and crack prevention measures,providing the reference for the crack cause analysis and treatment of bridge abutment in the same type.
