Objective: To investigate the curative effect of Mamiai as assistant treatment on infant thrush. Methods: A total of 87 cases of infant thrush were divided into conventional treatment group (control group, 44 cases), and observation group (43 cases). Based on treatments given to the control group, the observation group was also given Mamiai. After treatment of 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 8 weeks, incidence of thrush was compared between the two groups. Results:The overall effective rate of the treatment group is obviously higher than that of the control group (P〈0.05). Within 8 weeks of t:reatment, the incidence of thrush of the observation group was significant lower than that of the control group (P〈0.05). Conclusions:Based on conventional treatment, Mamiai can shorten treatment course of thrush, raise the curative rate and prevent the reoccurrence of the disease within 8 weeks.
