摘要
英国在国际PISA测评中排名下滑使英国政府意识到其基础教育质量与芬兰等国相比还有一定差距。为了提高基础教育质量,近年来英国颁布了多项针对教师教育的重要法案,通过提高教师教育准入标准吸引优秀人才进入教师队伍,同时进一步密切大学与中小学在培养教师方面的合作伙伴关系。此外,为了提高教师待遇,英国实行以绩效为基础的职称工资制度,同时设立各种岗位津贴,使教师工资基本达到公务员的工资水平。
The decline of performance in PISA made the British government aware that there is still some gap in the quality of its school education in comparison with some other countries like Finland. To increase the quality of school education, British government issued several important legislations on teacher education in re- cent years. The new reform includes attracting high quality personnel into teacher profession through enhancing the requirement for teacher education candidates and universities and schools should work together even closely in initial training. In addition, the performance related salary system is carried out for teachers who are graded by professional titles. There are also various types of allowance for extra duties. All these make the pay for teachers similar as the pay level of civil servants.
