深度脱水污泥强度及渗透特性的试验研究

Experimental Study on Shear Strength and Permeability of Deeply Dewatered Sewage Sludge

摘要 深度脱水污泥是污泥减量化产生的新材料。为了探讨深度脱水污泥作为垃圾填埋场覆盖材料的可行性,对杭州主城区两座污水处理厂产生的深度脱水污泥的化学组分、基本物理特性、横向剪切强度及渗透特性进行了测试,并与一种传统填埋场覆盖粘性土进行了对比。测试结果表明:该深度脱水污泥的有机质含量高达66%,无机矿物成分以CaSO4和α-SiO2为主;该深度脱水污泥的横向剪切强度为35.5 kPa,达到了垃圾填埋场覆盖材料的强度控制标准;其渗透系数介于(6.8×10-9)~(1.3×10-8)m/s,防渗性能优于粘性土。 Deeply dewatered sewage sludge is a new material produced from sludge reduction. To investigate the feasibility of using this sewage sludge as a landfill cover material, the chemical composi- tion, physical properties, transversal shear strength and permeability of sludge collected from two wastewater plants in Hangzhou were measured. Parallel tests were performed on a clay used as traditional cover material. Experimental results indicated that the organic content in the dewatered sludge reached as high as 66% , and the sludge inorganic mineral components mainly consisted of CaSO4 and α-SiO2. Transversal shear strength of the dewatered sludge was 35.5 kPa, which met the prescribed requirement for landfill cover material. Permeability Of dewatered sludge ranged from (6.8×10^-9)-(1.3×10^-8)m/s, and its impervious character was better than clay' s.
