摘要
提出了一种基于体技术的改进的三维复杂建筑物模型多分辨率表达方法。该方法首先将原始表面模型转化为体元表达,并存储在一棵八叉树中;然后基于二次误差度量对八叉树体元进行聚类简化,生成不同分辨率的体元简化模型;最后从多分辨率体元模型中提取等值面,并利用法向量重建原始模型的特征,得到所需的LOD模型。实验结果表明,该方法计算量小,生成的LOD模型能有效保持原始建筑物的主要结构特征。
We propose a method for multi-resolution representation of 3D complex building model with features preservation based on improved volumetric techniques. Firstly, the po- lygonal model of 3D complex building is converted into volumetric representation, and the voxels are stored in an oetree. Then, various resolution cell models can be generated by clus- tering the octree cells with a basis on quadratic error metric. Finally, the multi-resolution isosurfaees are extracted and the features are reproduced using normals as expected LOD models. The experimental results show that the proposed method has the characteristics of less calculation and better ability of preserving main structure features of original building.
